Binnacle exists so small maritime operators never fail a USCG inspection by surprise — and never lose a crew member because a credential quietly expired on paper that nobody was watching.

We built Binnacle after watching too many small operators — charter fleets, commercial fishermen, passenger vessel companies — run their compliance program out of spreadsheets, paper binders, and the owner's head. It works until it doesn't. One expired medical certificate, one TWIC card nobody remembered, and an inspection turns into a violation.

There are compliance tools that do this well for tankers and shipping majors. None of them fit a fleet with 3 vessels and 12 crew. So we built one that does.

Every feature in Binnacle maps to a real regulation in 46 CFR. The AI that reads your credentials is the same AI reading regulatory filings. The alerts that fire 90 days before a crew member's MMC expires are the alerts you actually needed.

Binnacle is a BlueWave company. We build software for industries the big platforms have forgotten — maritime, construction, harbor operations, local tourism. Sister products include Port of Cams, a live webcam network for Pacific harbors.
